八四年八月十日，張彩雲收到 Edeltraud Munding 上周的信，答覆：「 I have received your letter last week, and has called up friends in Hong Kong to inquire the situation of Lau Shanqing.

 According to the Committee for the Rescue of Lau Shanging, the parents of Lau has been allowed to visit him once every month. It seems that Lau has not been physically tortured. Lau's parents refuse to say anything more about Lau, not even where he is imprisoned. It has also been very difficult to get in touch with them. If you want further information (let's hope there is still more ),」她說快要回香港了，並給了對方她的，營劉會和中大學生會的通訊地址。

最後一封沒有日期的信由里德林根市小組的Edeltrand  Ulanding給相關人士鼓氣的信寫道，「雖然資料不足，大家繼續努力，幫助”我們的囚犯"。」

 quite a long time has passed, and we didn't succeed in getting any further information concerning Mr. LIU SHANQING (you know him ---- you'll remember----- Liu Shanqing is the man we try to help). Therefore, we ask you very fervently, to inform us immediately, if you get to know any news about Liu Shanging where he is at the moment, the address of his family, the address of the prison he is in, his state of health etc. We also ask you urgently, to inform us about the student-s organization in Hongkong you wrote about in your last letters. Would you be so kind to give us addresses of members of this organization, too? So far, we didn't get any answer or help neither from China nor from the Chinese Embassy in Germany. Therefore, we are bound to look for each hint, as tiny it may be, to get know something about the situation of "our prisoner ". Thank you very much for your help! Yours, with our best wishes
